This changes pretty frequently due to my status as an audiophile (ps, go to your local independently owned record store today for Record Store Day. Seriously.)

1. Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
2. The Undertones - Teenage Kicks
3. The Cure - Just Like Heaven
4. Vampire Weekend - A-Punk
5. Outkast - B.O.B. (I don't really care all that much for hip hop, but this song is amazing).
Just below those is:
Pink Floyd - Jugband Blues
Muse - Starlight
LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends
Arctic Monkeys - Leave Before the Lights Come On
The Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows

1 Joy Division - Atmosphere, from Permanent
Ian's voice seems otherwordly and almost an authority on death

2 The Alan Parsons Project - Dream Within A Dream, from Tales of Mystery and Imagination
Great narration by Orson Welles followed by a few minutes of pure relaxation

3 Sigur Ros - Track 5/Alafoss, from ()
Standout track from an excellent album

4 Philip Glass - The Kiss, from The Hours
As above, but more urgent and melodic

5 Kraftwerk - Kometenmelodies 1 & 2, from Autobahn
Space music :)

Most of what I listen to doesn't fit the format of "songs", so I'll just list my favorite five pieces of anything that are each shorter than an arbitrary fifteen minutes. In no particular order, and picking only one per artist:

Glenn Branca, "The Ascension" (13:09)

Les Rallizes Denudes, "Enter the Mirror" (13:46 for my favorite recording, but most versions are a similar length)

The Velvet Underground, "I Heard Her Call My Name" (a quick 4:38)--"Sister Ray" is too long for this list at 17:27, but this track is just as good. The two of them are definitely my most favorite pieces by the band.

Merzbow, "Tokyo Times Ten" (11:08)--It was hard to pick one Merzbow track, and many run past fifteen minutes, but this one is off of the album Pulse Demon, one of my favorites.

Mono, "The Flames Beyond the Cold Mountain" (13:29)--Possibly my favorite Mono piece under fifteen minutes, but it's really a toss up among five pieces.
