Radiohead (the spooky/weird 'electronica' stuff from the Kid A / Amnesiac era is my favorite)
Modest Mouse (The Moon and Antarctica + Lonesome Crowded West)
Mum
Plaid
Tristeza
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Mogwai
Iron and Wine
Sufjan Stevens
Yeasayer
Devotchka
Neutral Milk Hotel
(these technically aren't bands, but you know what I mean...)
Vivaldi
Mozart

There's probably more but I'm always trying to figure out what I like. I'm mostly drawn to stuff with a dark enigmatic moody flavor but I also like upbeat experimental indie rock.

Neutral Milk Hotel!?! !?!? I thought I was the only one who's heard of them! I'm not a huge fan of them, but they are definitely good and are one of the best indie bands.

The Postal Service

Absolutely superb electro-pop, great production and songwriting. Sounds fabulous.

Regina Spektor

Unique creative voice, especially her early material.

Esbjorn Svensson Trio

Best piano trio I have heard live.

L.Pierre

Gorgeous ambient sound collage.

The Green Kingdom

Wonderful electroacoustic composer.

Sigur Ros

Inspiring, hopeful band from Iceland.

Those guys are my favourites at the moment. I'm always open to new music! 8)

If I had to make a list, for the last month or so (the party month for the not sures like myself) it wold prbably go like this:

Orange Goblin: A fantastic british Stoner/Doom group, bringing heavy metal back to its roots and making sure it stays there. Truly brilliant live

Acid King: Another of the stoner bands I really enjoy, enhanced by Lori S' unique vocal style (being one of very few women in the doom scene has its advantages) and bass heavy guitar tone make this band what it is, plus she's reasonably hot.

Tool: Always a favourite, 10,000 Days is still in my CD player most days, along with the rest of their back catalogue.

Ozzy Osbourne: Particularly 'Ozzmosis' at the moment, one of Ozzys' best in a long time, this album may not be 'all killer no filler', but it's certainly mostly killer at any rate.

Pitch Black: My answer to the Pendulum craze that swept over my friends was to find a Drum n Bass group I liked, and I found that in Pitch Black. Futureproof is definitely worth a look if you're into DnB.

And there you go.
