Pain & Lonliness I shall see
When one is not, not shall be
Screams of terror circling around
Hell around comes pounding down
Slow my mind from the constant hurrying
So help me change my persistent worrying
My body expressed my mind on a stroll
I live a pace I can't control
I'm struggling to defend
So when will it end, when?

Free as a bird in self presentation
More straight more speed
No need for explanation
My way of life back to normal
Until more free not slowed but formal
So what's a racing thought
nor thoughts normalise
But a game of chess that looks from all angles

Why do we live is to learn
Life but a crossroad
Our destiny by our each turn

The birds of night
Overcoming insecurity you'll see the light
Winning conquering one self's pain
Belief in good in every one you can only gain
So when you are lonely and confused
Try to understand why you have been abused

Friends
What is a friend what can they be,
Silent but there, to all eternity,
What would a friend do for me,
Would they roam the earth,
or collapse to thier knee,
no a friend is love not bad nor good,
but like a dove
with the heavens grievance from above
like a feather of a magical bird
higher than a tree but my
friend will always help me, kind but bad
or just to be I love you to all eternity,
See a friend would go hungry
Which makes me sad
We can strive alone but are we,
no, together for all eternity
For our honesty will always forsee

Illusions

The birds of flight inspire me
As the sea and land at night
The peace of the mountains
The stillness of the water
or the rush of the fountains
The call of the wild
A lion or tiger
or a pleasant child
comes to me at night
When the sun goes down
Everything will be alright

The Mind

We are constantly dreaming if not we wither
Learning our minds mysteries reaching to deliver
Thoughts building passages of power
Electrical waves conveying to the tower
Reaching beyond to a mystical stage
Thoughts controlling our aura beginning of a new age

Shattered Dreams

Hope gone wanting to escape
violent anger rage and rape
Mysticism, beauty, deceiptful
alive, lying down ready to die
Spinning down, look around
more pain
is it Hell I shall gain

I liked these poems, all of them, it was a warming read for me. I wrote this wrong the first time but this is what i meant; The last poem although good imagery, was not a warm cozy read. By warm and cozy I mean that like a favorite sweater your poetry is familiar and comforting to me.

This is not my poem but I can relate ~

What have I lost?
At 7 weeks an embryo about 8mm long,
a large bulge where the heart is,
a bumb for the brain,
dimples that will become ears,
thickenings that will become eyes,
buds where arms and legs are growing...

The excitement of an expanding tummy,
the overwhelming love of holding a newborn,
a strong sucking mouth eager for milk,
first smiles at 6 weeks,
cute crawls at 8 months,
cautious toddlers at one year,
hug and kisses,
giggles and fun,
and so much love,
a child I will never know.
Boy? Girl?
So many hopes and dreams. . .

this is what I've lost.
