Is it weird that I like having friends instead of dating?

For me having friends is a lot simpler than a relationship.

Having friends is a lot simpler than dating for me as well. However with friends I can not have the intimicy & phsyical affection that I crave. Friends are people I ocasionally chat with or very ocasionally spend time with unless we are working together & then I only see them & talk to them at work.

Not that weird.

A lot of ppl are single by choice and spend their free time with their friends, then just get laid by a hookup or fwb when they're in the mood for it w/o the complications of having strings attached in a relationship.

It works for a lot of people. Allows for complete freedom to do what you want when you want, as well as to have a variety of sex partners whenever you feel the urge w/o having to make any commitments to anyone nor compromises on how you spend your time or money.
