I wouldn't want to know him, period.

Someone who used to work in the film industry and met actors stated he is a “Jerk”

Based on the way he treated Katie and Suri, it's not a secret.

I remember a male friend asking me to never wear heels around him. Personally I tend to avoid heels anyway because I lack balance and like to have the option to power walk or run.

He is about 5'10 / just under 5'11. I am 5'8. So, when we're stood next to each other, we appear at a similar height. He worries this will make him look short, but I think it's more likely that people will think 'Oh hey, that's a tall woman' rather than 'that man must be short if he's only slightly taller'.

Granted, I know this is a conversation about what women find attractive in men. My friend is gay. I am also gay, so this whole post may not be particularly relevant.

One of our mutual friends is a straight guy. He's 5'7 and mildly annoyed that I am slightly taller.

I know he has a thing for short girls. His current girlfriend is fairly short. Apparently he wouldn't date someone taller than him.

Whereas, I also know guys who are adamant on dating tall women. Everyone has their preferences.

Guys who are really tall can struggle as well. I have a male friend who is 6'7 and his height can put some women off.

Is that your personal opinion on how attractive you find people?

Read the OP.
You are using a different context when you are talking about "attractiveness".

What do you think about what the OP said?

No, it's how Gen Y and Z rate attractiveness
1. For short people (I posted earlier)'
2. Also for extremely tall people

Once again I will ask:
What do you think about what the OP said?

Effing stop spreading stereotypes about others or I take moderational actions against it.
What you do constitutes a sweeping stereotyping generalization on groups likely consisitng WP members. It is forbidden on WrongPlanet.net.

So somebody can start a thread called "you can't be good looking if your short" and that's ok but I am stating what is actually supported by data and I am threatened with expulsion.

Fine...I'm leaving this thread

The thread title is a question, not a statement.
Nasty racist stuff claims to be "supported by data", too.
Just like the sexist-ageist stereotypes you posted.

Just don't do it.

When some girls were asked to rate the looks of soccer player Lionel Messi one lady commented “No short man is handsome”

One lady.

We really talked about it. People have tastes. You can always find a person who dislikes a particular trait.

The reason why these are stereotypes....is because it's true in a few cases, but not true in most cases.

It's harmful for a short man, say, to feel he is "unattractive" merely because he is short. This is an untrue statement, absolutely.

Same with a tall woman being assumed to be "unattractive" because she is tall.
