With the way the list is labeled men who sleep with prostitutes would totally throw that list out of proportion where that is available.
Gay men would totally throw it out of proportion also.
Unless I am such an oddball to think that men would not willingly accept let’s say having 7 sex partners when they can easily have as many as they want. That is a curiousity in itself for me.
Someone with some preconceived idea is skewing it like always.
Gud point, prostitution is legal and safe in Aus. It's like kids buying candy.

Do you think it would be far more than 14 prostitutes they might be seeing if they would, or less than 14 in a local brothel?
I mean when I want a hairstylist i have many options. It can't be the same with the number of brothels at every corner.
What if there are a lot of open relationships in some countries like I see on the dating sites?

i used to be a prostitute back when i was a homeless alcoholic..yes i got quite rich with that but i still didnt have a home to call my own
im not proud of those days tho

If they've compiled their stats with a broad enough sample of the population then all of this is taken into consideration and these are the averages.
Gotta bear in mind that there are still many people that only ever have one or two sexual partners in their lifetimes - or zero - but tons that got married young and never bang anyone else. There are also many people that don't have active sex lives for religious reasons.
The numbers have risen from a couple decades ago when the stat was 8 for Americans, reflecting changing attitudes towards sex, IMO. My best guess is that the numbers continue to rise as people avoid marriages/relationships and just have ever more casual sex/friends with benefits etc.

Umm... actually, yes they are. They are two people having sex and the other person is considered one's partner for said sex. Doesn't mean they're in a relationship, but, for technical definition's sake.. yes, they are in fact a sexual partner.

Oh, btw the waiter will come to you twice and asks you to pour something on it, the first time is this red sauce thing which is chili sauce which is fine if you can handle it, the second time is colorless boiling thing (and most likely will ask you in Turkish, not in English)… tell them NO for this one, it is boiled butter
