I would probably have to start dressing more ladylike and not like a homeless person (what? I like layers ;P); master the art of small-talk :eew: and put myself "on the market". one guy told me that I should get a tan but I think I'd rather die single, so I ignored that advice.

I've been told I would be more attractive with a tan. I think my response put him off, though. Apparently, nobody wants to talk about melanoma.

Good job you weren't resting in it, otherwise I'd crush you to death with my weight.

Being 23st has its advantages that way.

Not have bipolar.

/self pity

Adjusted:

MEDICATE the bipolar.

There's no way I'd date anyone or even consider looking to date anyone in the current state of extreme emotional instability I live in. Not that I even tend to be desperately looking for a date in the first place... :?

...not sure why I'm responding to this thread.

I could start brushing my hair, instead of throwing an accessory in it and calling the tangles "beach waves".

I could paint my nails.

Shave.

Stop talking about politics.

I would probably have to get my s**t together and stop being like a deer caught in headlights/scared rabbit when people approach me. I should also stay in the same room as them when they come to visit.

Not sure how to achieve this though.

To be fair, I think I'd be pretty put off if random women approached me too. And I don't much like being around people in social situations either (unless there's alcohol involved, and lots of it).

Where is it you lived exactly?

One thing I've learned by observing other people is that you should not make this decision for others, people have good points and bad points, it's the total package that matters.

You may be denying some guy a chance at true happiness instead of doing him a favor with this policy...

Well, the advices i am getting from others (without even asking them):

- Getting rid of the glasses
- Getting rid of my nerdy personality.
- Changing my whole lifestyle.
- To never be timid, to be socially straightforward, like asking a girl's number within the first 10min of meeting her.
- Changing my posture, my speech pattern, my eyes patterns ...
- To have more 'pics with girls' on fb.... (! !)

hence i said what I said in the first page, it would be easier.

Speaking as someone with Bipolar, when I say things like this it's about me and not a potential partner. The mood swings can really f**k with your head... to the point where you have no idea what you want. One minute you want someone, the next you want to run as far and fast as you can.

- Lose some weight. I used to be pretty fit, but my depression has gotten the best of me.
- Wear my hair down more
- Keep up with my looks...like wear makeup, lip gloss (because i have dry lips)
- Get my career on track
- Get out more....as I have gotten older and out of college I have become super isolated.

I have good hygiene, but it seems as though guys only like girls that are "stylish". I am pretty much a jeans, flip flops, tank top, hoodie, hair in a ponytail, no jewelry or makeup girl. Maybe I should work on that. :?
