As a hispanic with a wide nose, it always somewhat bothers me when ethnic groups with that beautiful slender nose date other races with wide noses and coarse hair, there's just something terribly sad that's lost within their children; wide noses are quite frankly, terribly ugly, i mean black women straighten and dye their hair for a reason, and that's to look more white, they need to compete with those features which are undeniably beautiful.
I would guess because the place where my parents are from there was someone down my family tree whose black, although I'm actually quite pale, I don't have straight hair or a slender nose, which makes me look significantly uglier, and I've taken phothoshop to my face plenty of times to confirm this.
Not to say I'm against interracial relationships but ultimately I see something that's lost that was once beautiful -- a pain that I share. A person like me needs to make a monumental effort to let go of physical beauty and to grasp inner-beauty, which is a tremendously hard thing to do when you can't attract anyone, it can be done but it's a painful hurdle that will take many years to overcome.
That separation from beauty is a painful sort, which is why I wish that races with the slender nose and straight hair should try to keep it, though I'm not against interracial relationships, but It's more of a remainder that something is indeed lost.
I am biracial, with long curly hair and NO slender nose. Rather a button nose. I feel quite beautiful, and recieve compliments from all kinds of people about my features.
I feel sorry for you to be so brainwashed by this caucasian ideal.
