You sound like a strikingly cogniscient and self-aware individual. I have no doubts that you'll not only make it through this but do a heck of a lot in the future since you have that critical strength of evaluating your self and reality honestly which sadly not enough people have.

Give up on this girl, keep doing what your doing in terms of working on everything that you'd like to see change. Things will sort out.

We have exchanged a few emails over the past week, all small talk. I'm not saying this is going anywhere. I think there are huge issues of trust here. She self-admittingly has walls. She's let down her walls for me before. Who knows. Don't get me wrong, I know way better than to push anything right now. I have to do what is right in my heart.

Another thing. She lost her father a few years back. I know she is still having a difficult time with that.
