Also here is a photo of my hair colour

I'm a redhead (auburn).

I actually like bald men with glasses and stubble - the Stanley Tucci type.

For younger men I like gingers or dark hair. I don't care if it's short or quite long, if they take good care of it.

Black hair usually looks healthier / shiny, so maybe that's why lots of people like it.

I have thick black straight/wavy hair which isn't as flexible so tended to be messy when I was younger (I avoided using hair products due to allergies). It's advantageous as I got older as it tends to hide my grey hair

I thought people with black hair tended to go grey earlier?

Grey is great! I forgot to mention grey! That's likely my favourite, after bald.

I really believe it depends on the woman.....

Sometimes, I do wish I had dark hair, though. I used to have sandy-chestnut-light brown hair which sometimes became blond in the summer. Nowadays, it's about 75% gray.

I like all colors. I dont have a preference. I thought the only Hair color women care about is their own. Hair dyes are very popular commodity.

I have thick brown hair, with some lightish strands. Women prefer the type that has Looks , money, dominance. and maybe intelligence. Hair is a silly side issue, I don't believe it holds much importance.

- clean (good grooming, good oral hygiene, don't smell)
- self-sufficiency (they don't need to be rich, but I'm not sharing my money -- I don't want theirs either)
- assertiveness (not dominance)
- intelligence (yes, but that includes emotional intelligence)

I'd add patience and privacy. I don't want to go to parties, restaurants, hotels, family gatherings, or anything social.

And nice hands. Gotta have nice hands. :P

I would add "imagination & talent" because a person who can keep themselves and others entertained is more attractive (to me) than a person who has no idea how to have fun, or who keeps asking "Whadda you wanna do?".

Mmmmm ... I guess it doesn't hurt but it's not that important to me. I don't want to do anything in terms of "What do you wanna do?" We just live our lives. I read and write; he putters around, works a bit, and walks our dogs. That's good enough for me. Liking the same music (or music each other can tolerate) is more important to me than their talent or imagination.

It's also important to be on the same wavelength in terms of talking. I couldn't be with anyone who talked too much or couldn't just hang out together in silence sometimes.

- submissive (not domineering, bossy, more masculine than himself, but receptive, feminine, easy-going)
- intelligence (emotional intelligence, a sense of humor, and yes, maybe even 'Imagination and Talent' that would be a added bonus )

Well, what a male looks for in a women isn't really that much different. Apart from one evolutionary dimorphistic divergence.

My girlfriend and I, when I was 20 and she 18, used to frequently lie around reading books, not saying anything to each other at all.

That enabled me to read an 800-page biography of Peter the Great in one day.

Yep, everything you have posted so far on this topic has made perfect sense.  I assume that the only differences might be in how these features are prioritized (if at all).

What is the point of hanging around with someone for their looks alone when they have nothing else to offer?
