Yes, if she asked me to. But I don't think I'm a good singer, and guys that sing or write poems to get girls attention normally get dumped/ignored...or at least that's what it's like on TV anyway..

On television, maybe; but not in the movies:

I don't know if it's a side effect of AS or not, but I'm completely tone deaf and all who know me beg me not to sing!

That's because those guys are dicks. I write songs and poems, and sing/play instruments because I want to and enjoy it, not to get ass. They've only ever got me ass once and that was indirectly since it just led to me being in the right place at the right time.

I understood that Leonard Cohen started playing guitar to get girls to like him. He ended up becomming at the very least one of the greatest most intelligent lyric-writers in history. So in that case I really enjoy the fact he did so.

As for me, I sing a lot to myself and my gf has the bad luck of being in the neighbourhood some of the time. This means I do not mind singing for her so I answered yes. On the other hand there is only a very remote chance she'll ever ask me to.

I would sing to a woman if I were

a) drunk
b) madly in love with her
c) both

Singing and dancing, the two things I wouldn't in public. I'm terribly shy and awfully inhibited. One time, during a long-distance with a young Muscovite named Helen, I must've sang for her over the phone more than once. I'd love to be able to sing like Bono when I'm in love, but due to horrendously bad genes I'm tone-deaf. All the men in my family are tragicaly unable to carry a tune.

That's something I've learned about being in love; you suddenly have no qualms about making a fool of yourself. Love is indeed a drug. Potentially fatal if used improperly. Talk to your local dealer for more details.

Yes. Badly. And well. Depending on what I'm supposed to sing. I'd even do my best crappy impression of black metal death grunts. XD

I sing out loud for ANYONE to hear. So I would sing for her EVEN IF she didnt ask me to or didnt necessarily want me to :P .

I'd sing to her, death metal style.

I would sing for her, if she really wanted me to and she was willing to ignore the awfulness of my voice.

If I had a woman I'd sing to her, but would she really appreciate the stuff I'm into? Only one of my friends has any affection for electronica and he had never really heard Depeche Mode until he rode in my car one day. That tells you just how few people like that stuff...

All the women at my work place listen to light rock, which I think is drab and I get tired of all the songs about love. I think I like DM so much because their songs deal with more intellectual topics like capitalism, law, religion, racism, hard work, heck, I think the song "Halo" could even be referring to big business in America!

I sang a few times for a girl that I liked back in High School. Didn't work.
