Spongy - I have had the EXACT same problem in recent years. Nothing ever lasts more than a few months and I keep getting confused, and then getting my heart broken.

It's just crazy hard to meet people. There are no women in my work enviroment or social circle. You can't be in a relationship if you can't meet anyone to have that relationship with.

It depends on the mental and physical will power to do so...but I was speaking on behalf of a few of us, not myself.

While that was mainly a joke it covers my main issue, I tend to fall for people too soon and they notice. Usual reactions involve avoiding me or taking advantage of my naivety and then avoiding me.

That being said Im trying to work on whats causing this and I like to believe I´ve been making some progress.

I know that feeling dude, although I am not very attached usually...I just want some of their time. :lol:

Because the last time I met a single woman close to my age, and outside of my workplace, was 3-4 years ago lol, seems everyone I meet nowadays is already taken. Plus I live in a really small rural town too so the pickings are pretty slim...wait I think that's two reasons, darn!

I not bothered for 5 years, after someone used me just to get a lift to the person they were dating & 2 security guards came up & told me she got in someone else’s car, they seemed to of known her.

What happened with just have a relationship & growing. Seems to be all about silly mind games now.

That is why I is single, because I stopped bothering. Diffence between a romantic relationship & one that needs mind games.

I am single due to not really trying and also I have not had much time since I study online for a master's degree and work full time. When I finish the master's degree I may be ready to think about dating.
