Uh, heh heh... not 'round here! Maybe Dallas is weird, but I see fat, homely women walking arm-in-arm with body-building men everywhere I go around this city. It drives me crazy imagining how this could be occuring so much. I fully expect to see the kind of couple you refer to -- the out-of-shape guy with the attractive female -- but I never see that anymore; just the opposite. :? Strange. I can't figure it out.

Supply & Demand.

Lots of cute women in NYC and the Cali coast; not as many in Texas and Oregon.

I'd dispute that point anyhow... I think the California girl stereotype is boring as hell. But let's not forget that money itself has an impact on how beautiful a woman is. Manicures, expensive hair products, trendy clothing with a good fit... all those things can make a plain girl reasonably pretty and a beautiful girl downright stunning. So I'd argue that high-income areas have more beautiful women not because beautiful women flock to where they rich men are (or vice versa), but rather because these girls' daddies are well-off.

Of course, those touches lose their powerful effect when every other woman for miles around is going to the same lengths.

Don't forget the genetic aspect either.
Attractive people tend to be more
successful, so wealthy families
are actually more likely to spawn
attractive children.

Gwen,
You do have a point about money, however by saying that I stereotype, you assume much. :shameonyou:
It may be wise to refrain from judgment unless you've lived in some of those places.

Gawd, you know you're getting addicted to a freakin' message board when you start to take things personally. Good night.
