I am 19 years old from West Yorkshire in the UK. I have been told I am loyal and trustworthy. I am looking for an 18-23 year old that also lives in West Yorkshire (or near York itself I go to University there) for friendship, possibly dating. Having experienced the rocky road that is trying to get to know people from scratch, I decided that what I really wanted was a close friend. Someone who I can understand and who will want to understand me (Hence posting this here). As for what my friends say, they know that they can trust me with all their issues and that, whatever happens I will offer what advice I can and whatever is said to me goes no further. I have MSN and I am on facebook. If you wish to contact me then PM me.

If you are looking for a friend, why does she have to be single?

This should go into the Social Skills and Making Friends folder, to avoid confusion.

Sounds like it could fit in either of the two categories.

He also said "possibly dating" which is much less complicated if the person is single.

true, but why bother swith the 'possibility'. Since the OP has gone so far as to require potential 'friends' to be single and posted in the 'love and dating' forum,, he's already kind of giving the game away that he's really looking a girlfriend. There's nothing wrong with that, so why not simply say so?
