Ok it was more like an argument and pointing out facts more than hate mail. Hate is a strong word.
I don't hate my ex girlfriend but I am angry with her.

It feels as though my life has barely any meaning at all. I don't see friends really, I play only open mics right now, and now I don't have a relationship.

I wish you felt better. Do you have any sort of religious or spiritual tradition to turn to?

I do somewhat have an interest with spirituality but it's more about curiosity rather than faithful belief.
I'm too lazy really. Haven't meditated for a while.

All she is is a piece of tail that retails for 100 pounds on the open market. Probably cheaper if she wasn't very good looking.

I like her. She is at the very least a friend of mine. Why call her a piece of tail? I don't understand.

Just trying to help you get over her. Why should you get spun up over something readily replaceable?

Sorry man. I don't know I just feel somewhat confused and things. Perhaps I've been too hasty mentally at times.
I would prefer people to not have a go at her though.

Nothing to be sorry about.

What's more important is if you banged her  since sex is really the "carrot" in the reward cycle that makes men bother with dating.

If t were not for sex, do you honestly think that
Men would put up with the crap they have to deal with Ina relationship.?

Read Roissy's blog if you want advice.

Have you tried living on a diet entirely composed of carrots?

I just mean though that I don't want my ex girlfriend attacked. I respect her as a friend, even if I am at times a little angry with her.

When whacking something with a shovel doesn't work, whack harder!

I just don't get why he's upset. Just seems so counterproductive.

It makes me sad when people talk about women like this. Haven't you ever known a kind caring woman or at least a sweet little girl? I mean that question earnestly, not in a mean way. It would sadden me deeply to think of someone talking about my mother, grandmother, sister, niece, etc. like this. Maybe I am lucky in knowing some very good women, and I have to say, I try to be kind and loving myself. Words like that are very hurtful, Ricky.

What do you owe her? She's not providing you anything now except for heartache.

He's upset because he's grown emotionally attached to his girlfriend, and now that she is no longer there he misses her companionship horribly. It's perfectly normal behaviour. Also, he clearly places a high value on her as a person, whereas you value women solely on their willingness to have sex with you. Therefore, you are able to discard women as "a piece of tail" and move on quite easily, whereas for him it is much harder.

A lot of your comments are also inappropriate. For example, this one:

From what he has written, it is obvious that he does not consider sex as the carrot for getting a girlfriend, and has gladly put up with the stress of a relationship because he really likes and values the girl in question. It's quite mean to tell him otherwise when it is clear such a viewpoint doesn't apply.

Suggesting sex is the answer to everything is your "shovel", and when it doesn't work it's time for a different approach. :)

How is pointing out the existence of biomechanics "inappropriate"?

What samtoo is experiencing is biomechanics in action. Our wiring demands that we want o connect with another human.

I experience it as well but have my workarounds.
