I am asexual, though sometimes I wish I were not. I would like to experience the feeling of having a 'crush' on someone, and I would like to have a boyfriend so my mother can be proud of me.

The poll has flaws and I wasn't allowed to edit it. I left out bisexual and misspelled "homosexual" are the biggest errors. However, I don't think magnitude is all that important unless you wanted to more clearly define "bisexual". I have heard a lot of bisexuals refer to their interests as "80% gay/20% straight" and so forth. But for those who are not bisexual, a simple yes/no should be adequate.

I don't get the difference between hetrosexual and asexual, they are both the same! A hetrosexual is a straight person and an asexual is a straight person who can't get sex, but will live without it. Basically, asexual refers to Aspies and Aspies only, not NT's.

No, not really. About half of all asexuals are sexually experienced and many have children. Some are/were married. In the NT world, the vast majority of asexuals are female. So a person's sexual success rate has nothing to do with asexuality. It is not the same thing as celibacy either. A celibate priest "chooses" not to have sexual relations. An asexual has no desire for sex with anyone just like a heterosexual man has no desire to have sex with another man.

heterosexual male. I used to not really be too interested in sex. It has never really been terribly enjoyable until recently

Yes, many people have said this and it therefore makes this poll pretty stupid. Considering that the statistic for bisexuality for general population is said to be 30%.

While I mean not to bash the OP in any way, I don't disagree, either. It is highly problematic how bisexuality is often lambasted and flat-out disregarded; especially by the LGBT community itself.

Also, being transgendered has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Gender identity and sexual orientation are two completely different things. Transgendered people can encompass any sexuality, whether gay, straight, bisexual, pansexual, or otherwise.

That having been said, I'm a guy who has lived with AS for a good chunk of my life (three diagnoses and a fourth evaluation due very soon) and am completely bisexual. While I have had more experiences with men and have been in a relationship with a (very awesome) guy for almost a year and a half now, my attraction to and favor of intimacy with men and women are equal.
