I've noticed that a lot of men here don't really understand women. Pop music is highly educational, and is not just some silly noises after all. Here's Christine Aguililiria's ideas about what women want (or perhaps, what her middle aged songwriting team think).

1. Patience

4. Indefatigableness

I know this is meant to be a hooomerous thread. And I'm not the expert in matters of the heart.

But I think this song talks about what would be a particularly nice relationship.

Awww. That's really sweet! probably not very probable, but still it gives one a good feeling to think about it...

this song always puts a lump in my throat... there is a lot in there that is ideal for me. i don't have a checklist where everything is required, but this very closely explains how i feel.

a man who will be there for me, and i can be there for him too. with passion and understanding and affection... also a man who opens my eyes to new things, and who will debate and discuss stuff with me. someone who hears my secrets and is not scared away by them.

this is not farfetched at all, really. this can and does exist.
