1. Do you believe NTs generally find Autism or Asperger Syndrome a turn off because of what they know and not really understanding?
2. Do you think NTs should be more honest and the like just as we are?
3. After education in school, college or uni etc. ... Would you think it will be easier to connect with them even if this person is in a relationship just for their input of you and what it is that made them and their friends disliked and if they do not know, should you push on the pressure and say why didn't any of them give me a chance?

@ Question 1: I think it is a turn off, but generally because they do not know why you act strange. People can adapt, but some people will never understand.

@ Question 2: I think they should, but they never will be, and don't see Autistic people as ideal to what they want. Unless you are trained to show many emotions.

@ Question 3: I wouldn't know...but then again, why would you want to try after College?

No. I believe NTs generally find Autism or Asperger Syndrome a turn off because they fear/hate anyone who is different from them.

No. I think that if NTs were more honest, they'd round us all up and stick us in a ghetto or freak show.

1~ I think NTs are turned off because they misinterpret our behavior & what we say & because we are less outgoing, stick to routines so we are less fun/boring.

2~ I don't think we should be in the habit of forming opinions/ideas/beliefs about what NTs should do because we would have problems with NTs forming them about us. We'd be upset if NTs said Aspies should be able to "lie"(brown-nose, be polite ect) like they do.

3~ I don't understand the way it's worded

1. They think its a turn off. Humans dont like things that are different. There are some excpetions, but thats our nature.

2. They can have whatever opinion they want. But I think people need to be more honest as it is.

3. If im understand the question correctly, you asking if you should ask peolpe to critique you after some amount of time has gone by? If so Ive done this. Never a good idea. Ive done this, and I get not one bad thing said about me, but then I know what was said when things didnt work out so i know its a lie. People dont like conflict and will give good reviews just to not deal with you.

It really depends on your outlook, attitude and perspective, there isn't any conspiracy against people on the spectrum and most young girls probably wouldn't an extensive understanding of the term NT, let alone AS unless they have had first hand or prior experience with it before through studies or a close relative.

People are individuals and our level of honesty or naivety really depends on the individual character of a person, certain people may use indirect or more subtle means of persuading or influencing someone but people on the spectrum can be as deceiving as a person that isn't on the spectrum.

It's better to move on and leave it in the past, those people weren't worth associate with back then and they probably aren't worth associating with now. Many social groups in school environments can be judgmental and predatory, that's how the world works, sometimes people can be predatory just to establish their power over someone or earn favor from other members of the group.
