Please rate yourself honestly, on a scale of 0 to 10.

3 ... I've got some good attitudes but bad habits ... like being either overbearing or withdrawn in conversation, not paying attention to people, being awkward, etc. If I could sort some of that out, adapt a bit, I might get myself up to a 7 or 8 I think.

it would be great if we could set standards for 1-10 (like a pain scale) and them our answers would mean something in relation to each other
though seeing where people *think* they stack up against other people is kinda interesting in itself

Good point, you can't define something that is so subjective and vague.

I don't think I'm very emotionally attractive. I'm needy, I cry for no reason (or if there is a reason I don't know what it is), I'm anxious` all the time about everything, I need constant reassurance. Emotionally I'm a horrible person. Well you said be honest!

I suppose my good points (such as they are) is that I am kind, and I do show people that I love them, I'm not jealous and I rarely get angry. I'm not sure that the good points outweigh the bad points, frankly. Luckily for me quite a few men seem to like insecure, emotionally unstable women and I've done OK so far :)

Insecurity and vulnerability can be very attractive to some men, some men might feel the need to fix or protect you in some way.

Ugh probably a "0," though I do have rare moments where I do well, so I'll say it averages out to a "2."

Yes but eventually they realise that they can't fix me, and that makes them angry or upset. My boyfriend now doesn't try and fix me, and I don't try to change him. A lot of women seem to go out with men in the hope they can change them in some way, but I don't do that because I know what it's like to be on the receiving end.

2 or 3. I can pretend to be emotionally skilled, and not everyone will see through it.

I think emotionally I am fine, but I have the same weaknesses here, especially being awkward and withdrawn, so find I don't connect emotionally very well with others and would also end up with a low score.

Depends on the culture, on whether the girl wants a relationship or just wants casual sex etc.
