You are very NT in manner hence it implies that you mix mainly with NTs so if this is the case you are making life very hard for yourself as from my own experiences it's near on impossible to be treated as an equal by the average NT.

This.

Aspergia for Aspies! Seriously, we need our own town. If the neurotypicals need a carrot for that, they could use us as guinea pigs on researching how an Aspie-only society is different from the NT one.

I'm not saying there aren't people with Aspergers who look down on their own kind too - this can happen too - mainly from the 'wannabe NT' aspies, who are welcome to keep banging their head against the brick wall with the NTs!

To ask another aspie for advice re how to deal with NT women though is like a mouse asking another mouse the best way to deal with a cat! Avoid like the plague would be my advice - it's served me exceedingly well.

As for a country just for aspies I'd tend to avoid it. I mix better with the neuro diverse than just aspies, who often annoy the f-k out of me lol

I get along fine with NT's, I'm married to one and my kids are NT. I only know one other aspie IRL, and he's a friend of my kids. I'm treated as an equal. I think it's all in how you present yourself and how you allow yourself to be treated. It's not something that comes naturally but it's possible to learn.

I don't want to learn how to be like them though.

That is awesome, my grandparents had the exact same book, and now it is sitting on my bookshelf at home.
