There is a girl that I am facebook friends with and i commission for her for art sometimes. I have a bit of a crush on her and would like to go out for coffee some time. I do know her in person and i met her again at a convention where I had a fun time with her.

My question is how should i approach her with going out for coffee or to eat with out being the creepy type though Facebook?

I am trying reverse my fortune in terms of being single and i am seeking that companionship that i am starting to crave.

Any ideas?

dont do it via fb id say! its never gone well for me. try to meet her face to face have a chat and then ask for her number & to take her out sometime i belive it shows more confidence doing it face to face and you might get a better reaction.

Well, considering that you already know her, I think you're in the clear - that won't come off as creepy at all. Just ask if she would be free to hang out for a bit in person - don't make your first meeting a "date" as such. Good luck though!

Imo asking someone for coffee through facebook can be a bit hard.
I know that youve sent her a message already but if you two like art shows I think that you should have looked for something along those lines and then there said that it was nice and maybe you could meet again sometime soon for an unrelated activity(such as coffee).
This allows you to see her reaction and guess if she is merely saying yes out of pity...

Did you ask when she was available? Then you plan the meetup. Sending her your availability gives her a longer time frame to decide and possibly lose interest. Either way hopefully it works out.
