My ex husband gave me an Aspie baby. His nephew is Aspie. I think my boyfriends entire family may be Aspie... Ok.. well I only met his mom and one brother. I would have liked to of met his twin sister. Although I did net his sisters daughter and she doesnt seem to be but mom and brother would sure explain A LOT. Lol. They are nice enough to me. Just seem very uncomfortable, no eye contact and some other things. However I am raising a little girl who in all honesty I hope marries an Aspie some day. Both because I think the way an Aspie loves is the purest and deepest love and I want that for her above all else and because it seems so many Aspie men want a loving woman but have trouble finding one. She will know how to deal with the quirks from living with her brother and dad. And they both treat her like a little princess and so she will likely expect that from a man. I don't mean high maintenance just love affection and attention. It will be interesting to see as she gets older if she develipes any traits. I knew from birth my son was not an average baby. And as he aged it became more noticeable. I have not picked up on any traits in her so far.

Perhaps your naturally attracted to aspies particularly ones who like nurturing and comforting traits.I don't know if its an aspie thing but I really do seek comfort from time to time I'm kinda like a human cat.

May very well be. These two relationships have been the most satisfying of all I have been in. But in this one there are no games which I love. I am big in affection and he takes it and gives it very well. Although I am fine with him doing things on his own we both prefer to do things together or together with other people. He is the only man I have not needed time away from.

If I had a daughter she would most likely be like this! I used to do the same stuff all the time as a toddler I would flap my hands like crazy and spin even though I never really smiled I was happy I just had a different way of showing it like this little girl here she may not be smiling but she is happy!

Doesn't sound boring to me. I think lots of women would share those interests. Do you attend conventions? I would think you could meet people that way.

If you enjoy movies try to get into some indi filming. You could take a class on theatrical makeup, lighting, backdrops, you could scout locations, be an extra. Film people are a good mix of Aspies and artsies and you can't really tell them apart and no one notices little quirks or if they do they think it is great and not odd. They also tend to be open to new people. You don't have to be an actor to participate.

That is the key... find a group of like minded people and you will have lots of friends and dates. There are groups out there for everyone.
