Hello. I just signed up and looking to learn/share with others who are in Aspie/NT marriage.

I've been with my H for 22 years, married for 14, separated for 4. I'm hoping to save the marriage. Even though we live apart we are together all the time. We have a daughter who is on the spectrum. She is 10.

I look forward to getting to know other members!

Hi Indie :)

I am the aspie in the relationship - my boyfriend is the NT. Welcome to WP :)

There are two very excellent books that can help you understand your wife more (not that you don't already). Your daughter too. One called Aspergirls, and the other is 22 Things a Woman With Asperger's Syndrome Wants Her Partner to Know - both by Rudy Simone. They are great for your wife to read as well.. I read them several times. The author is on the spectrum too. ( think both are available as e-books)

If you have any questions... I may not be much help.. but I can always put in my two cents :)

Hi Valkyrie. My apologies I for not being more specific. I'm the NT and H is the Aspie. But thank you for your reply! Is this the right place for Aspie/NT marriage support? I didn't see a thread for marriage so I started here. Thanks again!

er... it is me who owes you an apology... I should have profile peeked.. somehow I thought you were the male partner... sorry .. been a long day... I should learn to keep quiet on days like these lol. However.. Rudy does write a book called 22 Things a Woman Must Know: If She Loves a Man With Asperger's Syndrome.

Still... welcome to WP :)
