Try not to overthink these, boys and girls.

Men:

1. If you had the chance to have consequence-free sex with lots of beautiful and appealing women, would you take it? Why or why not?
2. If someone were to tell you that most men would probably take the chance [edit]at the expense of never being monogamous[/edit], would this offend you? Would you consider this misandry?
2a. If you would consider this misandry, would you consider it so if the person otherwise expressed no scorn for men?
3. What do you believe most men would do given such a chance?
4. Would you consider it wrong if a man were to take such a chance?

Women:

1. If you had the chance to have consequence-free sex with what you believed to be the hottest, most powerful, creative, charming, and capable man around, would you take it? Why or why not?
2. If someone were to tell you that most women would probably take the chance to have sex with such a very high quality man at the expense of not having sex with lesser men, would this offend you? Would you consider this misogyny?
2a. If you would consider this misogyny, would you consider it so if the person otherwise expressed no scorn for women?
3. What do you believe most women would do given such a chance?
4. Would you consider it wrong if a woman were to take such a chance?

1- yes
2- not misandry, but rather stereotyping.
3- same as me
4- no. its his choice, now how he goes by doing his choice is another story.

Okay. Male here.
1. Yes, I would take it in a heartbeat. Sex feels good. Evolution ensures this. If there are no consequences, why not? If I were in a committed relationship (I'm currently- and perpetually- single) my answer would be different, but as it stands I see no problem with taking the hedonistic approach to answering this question.

2. Misandry if they express a general distaste for men. If not then it's just prejudice. Sweeping generalizations about either sex are very difficult for me to swallow.

3. I don't know. It depends on a man's personal philosophy.

4. No.

1. I would not because sexual intimacy without love doesn't do it for me. Yes, even if he is attractive; a crappy personality can kill it all.
2. If someone were to tell me that, I would not be offended...I would actually agree not because they are women, but because I believe most people(including men) would take the chance at something "better"(superficially better).
2a. I don't consider it.
3.Most women would go for the powerful man, since I believe most humans are selfish and rather live that way.
4. Yes, I would consider it wrong if a woman were to go that route since it shows how loyal and trustworthy she is not. Also wrong because she is acting selfishly.

1.) Only if they wanted it. I wouldn't be able to live with myself otherwise.
2.) Not at bit. I think it's true.
3.) Jump on that s**t in a heartbeat!
4.) Yes. There is a good reason there's no such thing as consequence-free sex.

Female here. I find the questions very confusing and don't understand 2 at all. So with that in mind:

1. Well, sure, if we are both single, why not (if I feel inclined to at the time)? I can't think of any reasons why I wouldn't, based on the information provided.
2. No...? And no...?
3. Take it, if they are not cheating by doing it.
4. Only if she was cheating by doing it.

I have a feeling I am seriously misunderstanding the questions.

Based on your responses you seem to have understood them.

The second one is basically asking whether or not you would find it offensive or misogynistic if someone told you that women would generally choose a higher quality man over a lower quality man, given the choice. For example, choosing the brilliant scientist with major accomplishments over the guy who's never really furthered his field at all, the gymnast who wins gold over the gymnast who wins bronze, or the sexy guy over the unsexy one. Presume other factors are otherwise equal if it helps.

I dont understand, why you changed your question for woman and men. If its only about a one night stand, its only optics important. So as long as I am not in an relationship and we are back to beautiful men, yes. I dont know, what use I should have of Power, Creative and that stuff, when it comes to a One night Stand. Powerful men are good in relationships, but relationships goes with consequences hand in hand.

And why? Dont know if you ever experienced it, but sex is fun, so I like Vanilly yoghurt and because of that, I would take the chance to enjoy one if possible ans as long as it is not linked to negative consequences. With sex it is alike.

You are weird and your question makes no sense. Either I am happy with someone, and choosed to have an relationship with him, then I have no use of a "Chance to have sex with a "high quality men" O_o" I mean, I can be happy with someone, or not, but that doesnt depend on other guys around or "their quality" ^^. And sex is just sex, the result is the same no matter with "what quality" you are doing it, so if I already have someone to share sex with, I dont need another one. And as long as it is only about sex, i have no advantages from other "qualities". As long as it came to One night stands, being not as ugly as hell and being symphatetic, was sufficient for me.

3) What chance? Do you mean your question 1 or 2? If you mean question 1) the answer is simple, if they like sex they will do what they like. Its as if you were asking, what kids would do, if given the opportunity to play the whole day long. Why do you think so many single women around the 40ies all love to visit the same countries like Kenia or Dominican Republic? 2) The Question has no sense in the existing world, and I dont know the answer in an phantasy world, in which different menqualities exist. ^^

4) As long as all affected people agree with each other and are grown up, what should there be wrong? O_o

1. no. power doesn't interest me, and i associate charm with sociopathy. kindness yes, charm no. so i would not have sex with the man as described. some of the other characteristics are interesting, but i don't know what the complete man is like. he is not actually objectively "high quality" - you tried to keep it open-ended by saying i believe him to be best in all those characteristics, but since i don't actually value some of those characteristics it doesn't work for me. you would have been better off leaving out the specific character traits.

2. i would consider it inaccurate, but not misogynous. women aren't all fighting over the same man, after all, though they could be.

3. i think women would either choose to be with him or not based on their own personal tastes.

4. no, it wouldn't be wrong because it would be based on their own choice.

Men:

no, why wouldn't one beautiful appealing woman be enough?

2. If someone were to tell you that most men would probably take the chance [edit]at the expense of never being monogamous[/edit], would this offend you? Would you consider this misandry?

it wouldn't offend me, because it does not apply to me, i would consider it misandry because it's unfair and unfounded

2a. If you would consider this misandry, would you consider it so if the person otherwise expressed no scorn for men?

the statement is what it is, regardless of who said it

3. What do you believe most men would do given such a chance?

i believe most men would say they'd have consequence free sex with lots of women but, in their hearts, no?

4. Would you consider it wrong if a man were to take such a chance?

no

Men-continued:

1. If you had the chance to have consequence-free sex with what you believed to be the hottest, most powerful, creative, charming, and capable woman around, would you take it? Why or why not?

if i was single and i believed that she was an okay person then yes, not sure what the gain is in having consequence free sex is

2. If someone were to tell you that most women would probably take the chance to have sex with such a very high quality man at the expense of not having sex with lesser men, would this offend you? Would you consider this misogyny?

no, this wouldn't offend me. why would someone deliberately choose "lesser men" over "high quality" men? i wouldn't consider this misogyny, as it is describing logical behaviour

2a. If you would consider this misogyny, would you consider it so if the person otherwise expressed no scorn for women?

if i consider it misogyny, then the person that said it wouldn't affect what i think

3. What do you believe most women would do given such a chance?

they would go for who they were most attracted to, i believe. on a first come first served basis

4. Would you consider it wrong if a woman were to take such a chance?

no

^ Am I to understand that you believe yourself to be both a man and a woman? O_o Or are you just trying to tackle both lines of questioning from a male standpoint?

I find it fascinating how stereotyping and hatred seem to be conflated in so many people's minds. Technically, you could say "women are all whores" and happen to quite like whores, in which case you wouldn't be misogynistic at all. Probing this aspect of human nature is one of the intentions of the questions.

I don't know which set of questions to answer, queeeeer here. I'm just going to answer BOTH sets of questions

Men:

1. If you had the chance to have consequence-free sex with lots of beautiful and appealing women, would you take it? Why or why not?
It would depend on the individuals and how I felt about the situation at the time, because I can't just say "I'd have sex with lots of people based on x-criteria" it really depends on the situation.

2. If someone were to tell you that most men would probably take the chance [edit]at the expense of never being monogamous[/edit], would this offend you? Would you consider this misandry?
I don't think never being monogamous is an expense, I think it depends on an individual whether or not monogamy has any value, and I wouldn't be offended, most likely, or think of it as misandry. There is a possibility I would, if the context were someone bashing all males and saying it as an indictment against an entire gender.

2a. If you would consider this misandry, would you consider it so if the person otherwise expressed no scorn for men?
I most likely would not.

3. What do you believe most men would do given such a chance?
I think it depends on each man and what he wants to do.

4. Would you consider it wrong if a man were to take such a chance?
What other people do in the bedroom is not for me to judge, and unless they want to make it my business, it is also not my business.

Women:

1. If you had the chance to have consequence-free sex with what you believed to be the hottest, most powerful, creative, charming, and capable man around, would you take it? Why or why not?
I don't know, based on the criteria given I would say there is a slim chance and it would all depend on the circumstances and how I felt about him.

2. If someosne were to tell you that most women would probably take the chance to have sex with such a very high quality man at the expense of not having sex with lesser men, would this offend you? Would you consider this misogyny?
Again, I don't see not having something in your love life or sex life as an expense, I see it as something that may or may not have value to an individual, so I would see the comment as a generalization(much like question 2 above) but I would likely not see it as misogyny unless the context were someone hating women or saying it as an indictment against an entire gender.

2a. If you would consider this misogyny, would you consider it so if the person otherwise expressed no scorn for women?
Probably not.

3. What do you believe most women would do given such a chance?
It depends on the individual woman, I assume she would make her choices based on the circumstances and what works for her personally.

4. Would you consider it wrong if a woman were to take such a chance?
Again, it's not my place to judge the sex/love lives of others, so I would consider it something that either isn't my business, or if she wants to make it my business, still not something that I can place any sort of value on, because I'm not her.

Sorry my answers are so long.
