Why do you think on the radio & on TV there are always commercials trying to sell products that claim to fix baldness & grow people's hair back?

For the same reason they try to convince you that you need an expensive car, or a certain type of clothes, or all kinds of other crap. Because there's a lot of money to be made from preying on people's insecurities about BS that truly does not matter.

I would not reject a bald/balding man solely for being bald (assuming that is what your question implies). Some bald men really suit being bald, and look really attractive. Generally speaking I prefer a man with hair. It totally depends on the person.

Baldness in itself is not unattractive. What is unattractive is men who whine about being bald, act all self-conscious, wear baseball caps to cover up the baldness, and talk about their baldness worries all the time.

Whether they're bald or fat or too thin or too short or too tall or too ________, (you fill in the blank) people with complexes who whine about their complexes all the time are not fun people to be around.

Yes but the companies that make these products know that there is a market to sell them in. Just like there is a market for elevator shoes & short men. It is because people DO discriminate against things like being bald. And the person that is short or bald can tell the difference in treatment that they get so they want to change their appearance as much as they can get away with.

Who will cry for these poor souls with receding or completely evaporated hairlines, destined never to be held attractive by the opposite sex?

Michael Stipe
Bruce Willis
Jason Statham
Samuel L. Jackson

... and ...

Sean Connery, multiple recipient of the "World's Sexiest Man" title...

Henrik Larsson, the footballer, was hot with long dreads, and just as hot with a shaved head.

Well can't bald people actually just attach dreads? Or do dreads actually need hair to be attached to because they otherwise wouldn't stick?

or his family was annoying And he was bold
or he didn't have green eyes And was bold

There are more but I am too tired to type them all out

My hair is thinning out at the top of my head. I elected to shave my hair off and go bald within the last couple of months. Surprisingly, I look good with it as others have told me. But I require facial hair to pull it off well. Too much of a baby face look without any facial hair.

(I was going to make an issue with the smartass comment but as it's Friday I'm going to cut you some slack)

Maybe she wasn't being a smartass. A lot of people with autism have issues with estimating height and distances. It's called poor spatial awareness.

I am exactly the same. When I even bother to think about/notice height at all (which is rare) I think of people as either tall or short. Tall means they're, um, tall. Short means they're about my height or shorter. Medium means I'm not really sure.

I have long thick hair, thicker than a lot of women's hair.
