How many of you already have dates/relationships?
Are you currently single and have your eye on someone you'd like to ask to be your valentine.

I don't have a valentine this year. I still can't find anyone I like. Whenever I do find someone I like, they take advantage of me and my kind nature, so no valentine for me, but I'm actually OK with that. My life is so busy at the moment, I couldn't possibly afford to be dating.

We're watching bad romantic comedies and making fun of them.

OP misspelled "Single's Awareness Day."

I need insurance. A a mammogram would be the closest I've gotten to being felt up in a year. Ok, 8 months, but still ..

Valentine's day is awesome, it's a great way to let old acquaintances know you haven't completely forgotten about them, without coming off like it's a means of courtship. In the case of all mine, the closest one being 900 miles away, long term romance simply isn't an option and sending something extravagant would come off as desperate. I usually send a single rose - just enough to say they cross my mind.

The afternoon phone calls make it all worthwhile, so long as they don't all call at once, lol!

I have a date with Lightning Faron....by which I mean I'll be playing Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII because nobody wants to date me.

I'm hoping I can talk my best friend into granting me just one single kiss as a gift, since I've been in love with her for so long now....maybe something will happen, maybe I'll discover my feelings aren't really as strong as I think they are, but either way I'll be better able to deal with my feelings.

I have a girlfriend but we didn't do much for last vDay & I only had a girlfriend for one other Valentines Day & we were long distance. My parents don't celebrate it much or really get into any holiday except mom loves decorating for Christmas. I never got into celebrating vDay or any other holiday due to my practical nature & hating commercialism & working two years at WalMart defiantly did not help me get into any holiday spirit. After my 1st relationship ended when I was 20 holidays made me lonely due to being single especially on vDay. Even thou I have someone now I still don't get into the spirit of vDay. I love spending time & affectionate with my partner & don't need a holiday telling me to.
