aspieotaku, there are way to many women obsessed with anime for you to be one of the melancholic guys here, have you ever done anime conventions? seems like a great way to meet women, they seem totally swarmed with women + it seems to be something you would know a lot of about. You would be in your natural habitat, that they will worship the amount of knowledge you have on the subject.

As a fellow anime otaku, I can tell you that women who are into anime act just like women who aren't into anime-- if you are shy or socially awkward or both, they will still hate you. They're not normally impressed by anime knowledge, either. Other guys would be, though.

First if they don't like you, you shouldn't even want to be around them. They don't deserve your company.

There is nothing wrong with being a geek and anime is awesome!!

Also lots of people are awkward, this is a site for people that are lol. Its about finding the right person that doesn't care.
