I find quite a few women with short hair and pixie cuts attractive and cute but afraid other guys will think I am gay or something. What is wrong with a woman having short hair? I find it cute and find them just as beautiful as women with long hair.

Nope it doesn't. Why would you even care about what other people think?

I have had other male peers assume I was gay for going for a woman with short hair or the stereotype of "oh she has a pixie cut so she must me a lesbian"nonsense I get annoyed by my male NT peers at times because of stupid crap like that.

You are 32 years old? So why would you care about the crap people say...
It's only a problem if you make it in to one.

I'de rather be alone then try to fit in what sounds like insecure jerks...
honestly your friends sound extremely insecure and childish. Short hair on a girl = lesbian or the man that likes her gay sound like something that comes from the mouth of a 12 year old.

Even if it did, why would you (or anyone) care?
The only men who would give you a hard time for such things are those that are afraid. accusing someone of being gay means, to me, that you are afraid he will start hitting on you.

I think it is time to ditch these douche bags and find new friends. Thanks for the advice or more of a hint that is. I mean wtf should it matter if a woman I find attractive has short hair or long hair? Its the same sexist assumption that all heterosexual males have short hair, yet many rock stars have long hair and you don't see women assuming them gay.

I think that sounds like a very clever idea, friends are people that support you and accept you as you are, friends do not say stupid crap to make you feel like you are worth less.

Guys that look good with long hair are actually some of the most attractive to some...*cough*
But just as many women prefer short hair.

Er...good on ya for making up your mind so quickly to ditch them. I was expecting some manner of deliberation.

The name "pixie cut" implies that it is a feminine hair style, doesn't it? To me it seems like a feminine hair style. If you are attracted to women (and not men) regardless of their hair style, you are straight. My husband has waist-length hair but that doesn't necessarily mean that I am attracted to women. I just like feminine men.
