For some reason these days I really like angry bitter songs about relationships gone wrong or relationships that have problems even thou I'm happy within my current relationship

Very rare Bowie version.



Little known fact.
David Bowie recorded a demo for Brian Ferry in 1974.
It was later used by him for his album.
Bowie ghost wrote and ghost sung the track.
Ferry used it and copies it exactly, the exact phrasing.


Later, after the success of the song, a drunken David Bowie appeared at studio and started a fight with Brian Ferry,over royalties he though was owed him.
Apparently Bowie,then smashed the bottle of booze he was holding over the studio console, and threaten to glass Brian "If he didn't give him his money..."
Ferry luckily escaped the studio, with only minor head and face injuries. (Had to wear a eyepatch for a while.)
But he paid Bowie his money. See Bowie was going through a nazi idolization phase, and was very militant.
It's a great song though, shame its recording history had to be marred with such shocking acts of violence.

i didn't know bowie suffered from such testosterone poisoning.
