In Facebook, I often get messages like this, where the photo of the sender is an attractive female

i always enjoy what you share here on Facebook but we're not friends yet, I have tried several times to send the friend request but it's not going through. Do you mind trying from your side? I will be happy to be friends with you. If you find this message embarrassing please pardon my manners.Thank you.

yes, it is like an epidemic. I get plenty of appeals from "rich widowers" whose page usually includes photos of manly men with puppies or kittens, a big flashy car, sometimes with military titles or other "status" tells. Predators are out there and they are after us for citizenship, money, etc etc. don't fall for this stuff. Its just another version of the old nigerian prince emails . If it seems to good to be true, it probably is a scam. :) good input, thanks for the post!
