When a man argues with women he gets labelled this?

Why is it when a man gets into an argument with women they will immediately call him names like "gay boy" etc.....?

Women who do that are usually stupid women.

Most women don't do that.

Sounds like one of those bar-flies at that bar you hang out in.

Because a lot of men have fragile egos and getting into, or even worse, losing an argument with a woman makes them and people in this society in general think that they are weak, and gay is pretty much used to describe everything from "weak" to "stupid" to "he kissed a girl!"

It's especially bad if the woman dies most of the yelling or the guy doesn't yell back.

We really are still living in the Middle Ages.

You think I'm going to react to a woman who calls me "gay-boy?"

I got better things to do....

I couldn't say as I have never observed this as a general rule.

I have seen both men and women immediately resort to name calling in arguments and I think it's an immature way to behave. I mean me and my boyfriend have gotten in some arguments but I can't recall either of us calling each other names, and we can never like actually stay mad/irritated at each other.

this is an inaccurate portrayal of women.

and whoever uses "gay boy" as an insult isn't even worth an argument.

I work in a bar and that doesn't even happen there.

It would be funny if you called her "lesbo"----but I really wouldn't advise it.

Because alot of women have fragile ego's, so they resort to using shaming tactics when their arguements are piss poor. I've seen it enough, so I usually just laugh it off.
I've had a woman call me gay because I rejected her.

I have never ever heard a woman call a man a gay boy during an argument.
That would just be, like, gay.

I've never observed this. Maybe these men were arguing with immature women? Anyone who resorts to insults isn't worth your time arguing with because they are not a friend of reason.

It may be something else from 8 years ago, a time the O.P seems to focus on in quite a few of their posts...

First part sounds like my moms boyfriend, perhaps its just people with fragile egos...rather than being gender specific. And I've had a man call me a lying b*tch because I rejected him and said I was already dating someone(I was)... Perhaps a case of fragile ego, or just not getting his way..one of the two.

I do think women use shaming tactics more often than men, HOWEVER, some men resort to being aggressive or violent if they know they can't win the intellectual battle, which is of course alot worse.

If that's the case then it's as jrjones says a very small sample to base an opinion on.
Furthermore, it's also not women but girls he's referring to, and at a time when homophobic insults were more popular in the classroom.
