When a woman winks at me with pretty eyes, I go mad!

In your opinion, what exactly makes a woman beautiful? I'm not skinny and never will be. I'm okay with that though. I'm a very confident woman and know that I'm beautiful inside and out despite the fact I'll never be able to be skinny. I love my fair skin, my smooth and curly hair, my facial features, how I find beauty in real life things as well as fantasy worlds like anime, video games and vocaloid songs.

I've been brought down by so many people but it's not getting to me any time soon. :D

Sorry for this post, I'm going through a very embarassing problem right now physically (bladder problems).

"what makes a woman beautiful"? Such an individual preference.

Black hair/blonde hair/brown hair - all those don't matter to me actually.

What I would personally require from a women whom I am in a relationship with is to look proportional to me.

IE, if I'm thin I wouldn't want her to be very overweight or a bodybuilder either, otherwise we would look weird.
If I'm 5'11 which is kinda tall I would probably not date an extremely tall woman who is above 6'0+
My ex was 5'10 and it was tall anyway...

Those two things will cause embarrassment to me and would def make me feel uncomfortable in a relationship.

From the inside, she must be intelligent and share common fields of interest with me, otherwise we would have nothing to talk about. 50% geek 50% cool is such a turn on to me.... haha :)

Also I think real beauty is a woman who is NOT touched by any artifical cosmetic changes/surgeries/lip augments/37493 piercings and tattoos. I find it appalling, although I know it is (sadly) the "norm".

I can't remember if it was Sophia Loren who said this "What makes a woman beautiful is the belief that she is beautiful"

And

"Sex appeal is 50% what you've got and 50% what people think you've got"

I think that if you believe you are beautiful, and have confidence in yourself and your body you will be beautiful and sexy - to yourself and others. Or something. :)

Ashley Graham the plus sized model has a great TED talk on YouTube. Plus size models are great examples of confidence in spite of silly societal expectations

An attractive smile goes a very long way for me (that's very subjective, of course.)

In terms of appearance; I'm not keen on make-up, tattoos, piercings, fancy hair or (what seems to me as) a self-conscious "look at me, everybody" style of dressing (e.g. if she's constantly pulling at her miniskirt out of paranoia that her knickers will show, I'm inclined to think that she'd be much more attractive wearing something she is more comfortable in.) My taste in body shape is pretty open, with a slight preference for what I would call "voluptuous" (is there a word for a fuller figure which isn't tainted by being used as a euphemism? It seems not; which is very sad, IMHO.)

But if the conversation "clicks", (...I kid myself that?...) none of those would put me off by themselves (the superficial preferences above are probably making prejudiced assumptions about personality just as much as they are my aesthetic foibles.) Personality wise, I find independence, confidence and directness very attractive so long as they don't stray into arrogance, and I really, really like a woman who can make me laugh.

I am also a firm believer that if you can't find something beautiful about a person, it's always worth asking yourself whether you're just being dismissive, and are simply not looking hard enough.

Confidence, quirkiness, flirtatious glances and kindness.

I wonder if knowing they’re absolutely unattainable makes them more or less beautiful.

Being lean, no tattoos or piercings, minimal approach to makeup.

Almost the same as what makes men beautiful to women, ask yourself this question.

Success? I do like it, but it’s far from the only thing I like in a woman, and there seems to be plenty of men who actually dislike anything that would help the woman not become dependent on them. On the other hand, a man’s success in life seems vastly more important to women.

Nope.

I'm asexual, and am ugly as the back of a garbage truck.

Curves, soft skin, small noses and small jawlines are examples of what makes a woman beautiful. :)

I’ve said before that I’ve come to associate personality and traits with physical appearance. By no means does that mean I think ALL women of a certain size shape are like that, nor does it mean that I don’t find them physically attractive.

I’ve seen pics of Zeromancer. If it were only a matter of physical attractiveness, I wouldn’t write her off. And just based on her posts, I’d say she’s the type of person I’d enjoy going out with.

What makes someone physically beautiful really is a moving target.
