Then, when my burger came, it looked tampered with. I was afraid to eat it, since I feared the waitress put a laxative in it or rubbed it between her butt cheeks, out of her disgust with my face. I just ate my fries, and my friend was nice enough to let me eat some of his too. I wrapped my "poisoned" burger in a napkin, and tossed it under my chair. I was afraid to complain to the manager too, since I knew she had him wrapped around her finger, and he'd just accuse me of lying. The only satisfying part was leaving her a 10-cent tip..

This is absolutely horrible,

I think its mentioned in plenty of places that looks is a primary filtration point for 99.9% of women. But unlike men looks is not the most important criteria for a potential partner.

I doubt it’s 99.9%—especially after high school.

You don’t have to be a “10,” or even an “8” to interest a women.

There are women who are into odd-looking men.

I think what women are most attracted to is a person’s scent…..more than the face. Or a facial expression that’s pleasing.

Do men really think this over personality though?

Possible but i) not all of them would turn down Brad Pitt in favour of the elephant man because they "like" odd men and ii) those who actively seek odd looking men are into fetishes so do account for 0,1% of the female population

I do. I once very smitten with an “ugly fat” woman. She just had a way of walking which made me want her. Reflective of her personality. And she smelled good, too.

How many men look like the Elephant Man?

Most men and women are average to decent-looking.

I’m a little too “conventional” looking…..that didn’t stop women from desiring me.

Yeah but I'm talking about women

here's one possible filter process

1. looks (tick)
2. clothes (tick)
3. Smell (tick)

Ok I'll respond if he talks to me....

I feel most women would prefer an average-looking man who smells good over a good-looking man who doesn’t smell good.

All that helps….but not always.

And it doesn’t preclude supposedly “ugly” men from finding love.

Threads like these sometimes make men lose hope.

In my checklist if they reach 3 and it's not a good smell then return back to scanning for another man
