One of my friends weighs 135-140 pounds is 5ft8, looks like Daniel Radcliffe, does drugs, drinks a lot and is very extroverted socially.

Yet women don’t find him sexually attractive. Do you think thats odd given the description of my friend I provided above because my friend is very social etc....

Maybe they don’t like the drugs and alcohol part of him, or something about his personality.

Maybe it's because the OP is generalizing that all women only care about a man's superficial appearance and social behavior.

^^ It would be so odd if one, whether a woman or man, wouldn’t care about the social behavior in a potential partner.

Drugs and alcohol may give you the courage to approach someone. They do not make you more attractive. Rather to the contrary. In the view of someone who does not take drugs and doesn't get drunk often they can diminish your attractiveness.

Extroversion alone doesn't make you attractive either, if it's not coupled with decent social skills.

Probably because he's short.

5'8 is sometimes considered short, it's on the lower side.

Probably because they see Harry Potter when they see him.

It’s not height. I’m just under 5 foot 5....and I’ve done okay. 5 foot 8 is just about average.

Nothing wrong with looking like Radcliffe.....or Burl Ives.

There’s probably other reasons other than his looks. Does he act like a jerk to people?

I’m on OkCupid, I’m 5’4, I would like the man if he is 5’8 :D I’m talking to men that are up to 6’4, over 6’2 is too tall for me, but I’m talking to them anyway, cuz I like their profiles :D

Drugs and alcohol can impair sexual performance.

Alcohol is the drug which most affects sexual arousal (erectile capacity). This is the first study to reveal the permanent effect of substance abuse on sexuality, even after long abstinence periods. Finally, orgasms are prevailingly impaired by heroin, cocaine, alcohol and speedball

Drug abuse impairs sexual performance in men even after rehabilitation
Date:
January 17, 2013
Source:
University of Granada
Summary:
Alcohol is the drug that most affects sexual arousal (erectile capacity), according to new research. In addition, researchers observed that men did not improve their sexual performance when they stopped drinking alcohol. The study included 905 men of which 550 had been diagnosed with alcohol, cocaine, cocaine and alcohol, heroin, marijuana and speedball (cocaine and heroin) addiction

I don't know about other women, but I would NEVER date someone who does drugs, unless maybe they were well on the way to quitting.

Addiction isn't attractive at all.
