Exactly. Going there to have some drinks, fun & wind down from the workweek is fine or like you said going with a partner can be OK too if your both into the atmosphere. But going there to pick up chicks doesn't really work for most guys most of the time.

This was funny and very true. Clubbing for most women isn't about finding partners, it's about being admired in a

safe environment. Pub's (late ones) are better for pulling, the emphasis there is on being sociable.
