how do you define love?

I have a question for everyone out there.

how do you define love?

Several different ways. There are eight types of love, according to the ancient Greeks:

• Agapic: Unconditional Love.
• Erotic: Romantic Love.
• Ludic: Playful Love.
• Manic: Obsessive Love.
• Philautic: Self-love.
• Philic: Affectionate Love.
• Pragmatic: Enduring Love.
• Storgic: Familiar Love.

The Christian Bible recognizes only four types of love: Agapic, Erotic, Philic, and Storgic.

Modern-day psychologists tend to classify "Manic Love" as a symptom of mental disorders.

To a tennis player, love means nothing.

You can look up these terms.

I define love in general as caring about someone more than you care about yourself. That is love but that is not being in love which is about being infatuated with someone. You can be infatuated but not actually love the person at all., you just love the idea of being with that person.
