A couple who just so happen to bump into each other and fall in love and become an item just like that! Maybe it does happen like that in real life? Has never happened to me quite like that!

Also films like Batman when a fight breaks out. Now if I was in real life ans I threw "Pow", "Whack" and "Biff" card signs at the villans they are hardly going to end up knocked out on the floor... Maybe one needs to make the colourful signs out of wood where the jagged edges would do some damage? Who knows!

I've done that and it didn't work.

Brooding artist going out with another brooding artist seems a better fit.

I think we should be asking about all the horrible messages we get from movies. Like all the things we grew up watching work over and over on screen, but would actually get us hit with restraining orders in real life.

I'm on the verge of that, maybe. It won't work but it might be fun while it lasts. 8)

When plans work perfectly due to luck, coincidence and mind-reading that would be almost impossible in real life.

In a movie: Gets chased by a murderer, runs round a corner but predicts that the murderer will think the victim ran the other way and the murderer does run the other way.

In real life: Gets chased by a murderer, runs round a corner and hopes the murderer thinks the victim ran the other way but the murderer sees the victim in his periphery and runs to the now cornered victim and stabs her to death.

Horror movies these days often disappoint me. This may be slightly off-topic here but I just thought I'd share what I think of older horror movies vs modern horror movies of today.

Modern horror movie: A group of teenagers go to stay in an abandoned haunted house that doesn't look that abandoned (real abandoned buildings are creepier), creepy or terrifying things almost happen but it just turns out to be pranks or a daydream or nightmare. But too many jump scares.

Older horror movie: Usually bases on a creepy backstory and adds a lot of psychological horror as well as supernatural events that are presented in a very creepy "uncanny valley" way, and the creepy things actually happen, rather than just being a character's fantasy or dream or prank.

Especially when they are caused by a single gunshot.

Go ahead and start your own thread on that subject.

I think we mistake muses for good matches.

They are very inspiring people but that doesn't mean we should marry them, they're not a good fit.

Falling in love with someone you can't communicate in the same language as.

That's just mutual lust.

High school students dating old vampires/old people just because they look young. I look secondary my age myself and I'm about 70 years younger than Edward Cullen and the age gap is so much more important than the physical appearance gap!

I think I only saw this movie 1ce when I was like a preteen so I forget the name of it. Anyways a guy had a crush on a celeb & he came up with some crazy plan to meet her & might of stalked her a bit & she ended up falling in love with him 8O  Even I'm not delusional enough to believe this would work in real life

• Antigravity that is generated by an ordinary electrical appliance.
• Any magical effect of myth and legend can be produced by technology.
• Artificial gravity that is generated by an ordinary electrical appliance.
• Asteroids fields that are packed boulder-to-boulder with asteroids.
• Every laboratory comes equipped with a Jacob's Ladder, a Tesla Coil, or a Van de Graf Generator.
• Explosions in space that have a circular, not spherical shock-wave.
• Explosions that go "BOOM" in the vacuum of space.
• Hand-grenades that explode with the force of a kiloton nuclear explosion.
• Ice that tends to be portrayed as having a pointy, fang-like crystalline shapes.
• Individual creatures that instantly evolve to a "higher form".
• Making anything with mass invisible.
• Newly-decanted clones that already have all the memories of the original.
• No matter how badly he is shot up, the hero never acquires permanent scars.
• Non-spherical planetary bodies larger than about 300 km across.
• Quantum effects that are used to explain everything.
• Seeing the internal details of a virus through an ordinary optical microscope.
• Unlimited power that is generated by an ordinary household appliance,
• When 'silenced' guns are fired, they all make a sound resembling a cat sneeze.

A millonare hiring a prostitute off the street & falling in love with her
A millionare who hires a prostitute is looking for sex instead.of a relationship. He would have a bit of choices for a relationship & would have no need to hire a prostitute unless he was only wanting sex.
