In a case like this though does it really imply the wealthy person is actually attractive to a lot of women. Or is it more people who would tolerate him because they really just want the perks that having a billionare partner might give them such as putting them in a higher social class.

I am just not convinced the majority of women are that into Elon Musk as a person. Besides he says he works 16 hours a day 7 days a week  so would he even have time for a relationship?

There is "attraction" and then there is "physical attraction".
A fantastic lifestyle is very attractive.

He doesn't need *time* for a relationship.
He has money and lots of it.
End of story. 8)

Haven't I always said that most relationships are superficial?

If he has to resort to employing a girl and then hitting on her then that's a wrap for all males

The woman was after his money.
She just went around it in a different way.

For a man
Physical good looks = tinder swipe + one night stand
$$ = permanent relationship or marriage

Therefore for a woman the more $$ you have (and bring in) the more increasingly attractive you become.

There are a lot of variations, though.Women don’t all want the same thing. Well, maybe those who use Tinder do. lol

The attractiveness algorithm is evidence based now.

Another example of money goggles for women

Tell me if women will throw themselves at this man (who is also a billionaire) if he was broke?

You can google any peer reviewed research on the subject, Whatever women "claim" we know subconsciously what drives most women

Ratings of attractiveness were around 1000 times more sensitive to salary for females rating males, compared to males rating females.

So in conclusion - Elon Musk is the most attractive autistic man on earth

It’s still not ALL women. There’s a lot of variation.

That article is sexist af.
Not all women care about money (or need someone else's money).

The most attractive autistic man on Earth wears a sweater vest, anyway.

Sure! but for a woman to overcome her biological urges takes some effort on her part and while it can be environment or circumstance that leads her to choose a partner who is not financially stable we are generally talking about the tail of the bell curve (not the middle).

There are literally thousands of peer reviewed scientific psychological journal articles that come to the same conclusion. Not sure how the findings can be "sexist"??

She doesn't look that bad.
How wealthy is she? <joke>

And the older the better.
It fast tracks the inheritance.

But don't get me wrong.
If both parties are happy with the arrangement, what is the problem?

You are just damned lucky Xfile-Geek isn't a mod and doesn't visit WP often.

Just to be on the safe side, I'll make a disclaimer:
I don't know this cyberdude guy and have no business arrangements with him either. 8O

This is not about “biological urges.” People who choose partners based solely on their wallet size are not making that decision because of their biology, and it’s sexist to make that claim.

It took no effort on my part not to become a “gold-digger” and I had the opportunity.

It may be the Truth, but some are more interested in political correctness than the facts. :nerdy:
Dude, were you born yesterday?

Settle people.
I'd be surprised if this thread isn't locked soon. 8)

There can be other factors involved, but they are hardly typical.

Quote:
What do you call people who love intelligent people?
Sapiosexuality means that a person is sexually attracted to highly intelligent people, so much so that they consider it to be the most important trait in a partner. It is a relatively new word that has become more popular in recent years. Both LGBTQ+ people and heterosexual people may identify as sapiosexual.

Theoretically speaking, I should be beating women off with a stick.
