I don’t think that women “need protecting” but bars are not exactly known for being safe spaces.

So perhaps I should give some weekends a miss maybe?

Perhaps if you do get drunk, get less drunk on those weekends.

Are there other things that you enjoy doing with your free time? Drinking so much and so often is not good for anyone.

Usually the advice offered to autistic people is to socialise more, but because this pub thing is obviously not working, now it's socialise less :D (just kidding)
or elsewhere....

I socialise in other places that are not of ill repute (jk), I don't get the nasty remarks that jamesy gets, but I'm no more successful.

Yeah I am worried I could get liver problems down the line even if I only go out drinking beer once a week.

How much beer do you (or would you) drink in one night out?

At the moment I usually drink bud light beer which is 3.5 percent ABV in the UK. I do sometimes have stronger beer like 4 or percent.

To be honest when I get tipsy I lose count of how many pints I have had.

If you had to guess, how many would you say?

Do you drink every day?

No I only drink on Saturdays maybe sometimes Fridays although I am trying to only limit my drinking to once a week instead of twice.

Back in 2014 I walked past these 2 women at the bar. I held eye contact with one of them for long and I heard one of the girls say about me behind my back “what a strange little man”.

I was sober when that happened by the way.

Have you had the same problem with men or is this behavior solely directed towards women (in bars, mostly, as it would seem)?

Forgive me for saying this but are you implying that maybe I have a bad attitude towards women in general because I hold eye contact with them for to long perhaps?

That’s likely the case if you don’t have a similar struggle when it comes to men, especially considering the fact that there have been other problematic behaviors.

It’s good to recognize that there’s a problem. If you don’t exhibit that behavior towards men, then it demonstrates that it’s within your control and isn’t so much an autism thing. If it were, it would not be so discriminating.

For the time being, avoid staring at women, avoid flirting with those who are on dates, avoid harassing women with lots of text messages that aren’t responded to, and avoid going to bars where your uninhibited behavior may be an issue. Binge drinking isn’t good for you anyway.
