I'll pay attention next time I see couples.
If it's true, what are the reasons for it?
I knew women were attracted to men whose perfume (pheromones?) smelt like their father's.
Maybe it's a bit like that for the "similar faces attraction". You're attracted to people who looks like your mother/father. And it's rare that a child doesn't look like his parents.

I recall reading something about how similiarity and familiarity is comforting and attractive. Probably something similiar to what AntiEverything has posted.
