Ever had strange attractions to certain types/professions/ethnicities of people of the opposite sex (or of the same sex, if that's your thing...) that your peers and/or parents would probably not like?

For example, for as long as I can remember, I have had a strange attraction to European women - and a very powerful attraction to Dutchwomen in particular. Not that it bothers me, but the societal norm for attraction to certain females in Australia , when one is a Anglo-Celtic Australian, is if she is another Australian (duh) or an Asian of some description (usually Australian men + Filipino women). I don't know if that is exactly correct for all of Australia, but it is learned from observation of common pairings-up, and the fact that most male friends and acquaintances I have met have had a negative reaction to my preference for the Dutch, including my father.

Lately, I've been very attracted to nonconformist "bad girls" who wear strange or revealing clothes.

But that doesn't mean I don't like other girls as well. I am very diverse with my tastes really!! :wink:

Are you asking if I get attracted to certain ethnicities from time to time? As a mattar of fact yes, and I see nothing wrong with that, and I doubt my parents would. But I've only dated one gal (and 'hooked up' with two others but not too heavily) in my life and they were both of my own ethnicity
