So my girlfriend got into the precarious position of having to work a part time time for Halloween, taking 16 credits for school, and tried to balance various commission work she gets. I myself am preparing to graduate so my senior show and what I'm gonna do afterward is hanging high over my mind. At this point it looks like the month of October is completely shot for both of us. And when we try to get together (either for lunch or passing in the hallways) our stress levels are such that we're starting to take it out on each other and rip one another apart for things that shouldn't matter.

So what now? I'm thinking of proposing we keep contact to a minimum until Halloween's passed and she can quit the job. That way we don't have to worry about the other person and they say absence makes the heart grow fonder. But somehow it just seems wrong to go on hiatus with someone you love, even if it is just for two weeks.

Any advice? Either way how we're doing things now isn't helping.
