This thread is so enlightening. Here we go again.

1.) I'm still not sure I have a working definition of maturity. Believe that I said that in another thread. Is redundancy immature?

2.) Not sure what socio-economic level I'm at to begin with. The bills always get paid. It's all I concern myself with.

3.) I'm pretty boring. (Is that interesting enough, or did I misread that one?)

4.) Hmmm. I've got both the things you mention. Lemme just channel Forest Gump and say, "hot is as hot does." I have no idea what that means. Ask Forest.

5.) Depends on a mathematical formula; Hotness/boringness. I'm terrible at math though.

6.) Done

7.) Double degreed former Mensa member. Will that do? I don't actually think I'm that smart. Most former gfs describe me as "dense." I'm not sure what they mean.

8.) Done

9.) 6' tall, 165 lbs. Been that way for most of my life. Lighter when younger though.

10.) Done. Hate consumerist, conspicuous consumption.

11.) Not sure if I'm silly enough. Can I work on it?

bonus.) Breeder. (see the boring thing above.)

and the other three things; oooops. total washout there. None of the above. Looks like I'm outta luck. Again. (for the record; apolitical, nonreligious, weirdo)

Is the Greyhound considered public transportation? Think that I'm too far away, sadly. Won't PM you, but good luck. It was fun giving it a shot anyway.

8)

1767 views and 98 replies in just three days. This is the most successful I've ever been at anything. It's a commonly discussed topic, of course, but I didn't expect this reaction. I wonder what the male:female ratio and the average ages of viewers are.

See you guys, I'm off to start up an internet dating site and make a million dollars!! !

What I'm not looking for:
Arrogance
A person that constantly ignores me
Accuses me of cheating on them to hide their own insecurities
Spends more time with friends
Plays videogames and guitar all day after I've traveled 3 hrs to see them

OK I'll stop...

What I'm looking for:

Honesty
Someone who will accept me for who I am (however odd I may seem)
Patience
Romantic
Sensitive
Open minded
Either meat eater or vegetarian
Someone not afraid to talk things out
Tall, dark haired, fair skinned and thin (although I'm not picky)
Well dressed. I don't really light tight pants on guys anymore, though I do think the indie boys look quite dashing.
A similar taste in music
For some reason I wouldn't mind dating a graphic designer.
I've already dated a bass player. Surely they're all not as arrogant/uncommunicative as he was but I don't think I could date another musician.
I used to always fancy bass players.

- pretty hair and eyes
- unpierced ears (other piercings are fine)
- decent taste in music (this one's damned important!)

- no aversion to rubber (lol)
- no aversion to gender bending (double lol)
- car optional
- can look after some of the practical things that make me anxious
- intelligence
- sense of humour
- calming, non-annoying voice
- adventurous, outgoing, but cautious

yeah, i pretty much just described my girlfriend ^.^

I must admit, the signposting has improved greatly since the Translink system came in, but I still have problems where I'll have to catch a bus at, for example, stop 40 Adelaide St, and stop 20 is marked, and the next one that is properly signposted is... stop 60 (yes, I'm exaggerating...).

I know what you mean, Adelaide St drives me crazy. One early evening I even got chased down it by a drunkard because I was dressed up to go to a costume party.

The library is at one end of it, too.

A huuuuuuge second-hand record store in downtown Brisbane. Although most of the shop's filled with half the world's vinyl, they also sell old stereo equipment, band T-shirts, posters, Dr Martens etc.

My expectations as a child:
Blonde hair, buff, tall, smooth, sweet, treats me like a princess

My real SO:
Brown hair that's balding, thin, average to tall height, furry, teases me lovingly, and doesn't buy into the presents thing.

So yeah expectations can change for the right person

Just go with 29+ to spot check that. I find that people who are getting to that age start looking to settle down... I didn't say that I was actually mature. I'm very immature in someways.

Middle class? Etc... This is just class issues and 'are you somehow self-supporting'.

These are all subjective to me/you. See where I'm going? ;) But ok, I'll give you the points.

Well, I do keep dating aspies. ;)

Subjective. Who knows.

Sure!

I date plenty of straight guys. It just gets to be annoying at times. At least, I get tired of playing Education. Its easier to start with someone who has a clue.

None of the above is problematic for being the Perfect Partner, though. ;)

I live in a city, so I tend to go for the trains. Less annoying than the buses. ;)

Really, this is a hard list to come up with. Shared values are more important. Maybe I should redo it.

I don't how people can have so many criteria & guidelines - I've never had a clue what I'm looking for. I just go on chemistry, I guess?

Mine were "predictors of long-term success". And oh right I forgot chemistry! To remedy that: must be a geek.

(And it was stated that this is "perfect" partner.)

I am seeing lots of very silly criteria here though. :)
