Not all of us. I think it adds another dimension of sexiness if a woman can beat me at a strategy game ;)

*breaks out the Risk board*

I agree - if a girl beat me at something, i find her
very interesting, not the opposite. If a girl cant
do anything and i beat her at everything, why
would i be interested in that girl? I want someone
whos equal, i have no use for a doormat, i allready
have one on the porch.

I'll come out and admit it: my mandrogen fueled personality finds it difficult to get along with someone on a personal level whom I'm in a position of competition with, male or female. An intelligent but complementary women would probably be better than one whose talents put her into direct competition with me. :rambo:

That's too bad twoshots since you'd be one of the stallions I'd want to put in my stable. To be honest, my first love was my cousin who is a few years older than me. We always competed and I noticed how he hated me when I won. However, it turned me on to battle him.
It's a curse between males and females I tell ya. Girls want to get higher and higher with being better and guys just want to believe they are perfect the way they are. Here is some sound advice for them: Marry a great big fat chick who can cook and clean and then you'll be allright in your boring little house.

While we may lock horns occasionally, I wouldn't consider you in direct competition with me, and I can't say I can think of a woman off the top of my head who has been.

Males are highly territorial; there will be common ground on which healthy competition can be engaged in, and there will be a place where you're stepping on my blue suede shoes.

Wait...what?

I don't dare step on your mathematical grounds. However, I will sneak a peek at the statistical evidence occasionally and will argue them despite your own world views.

I agree with you on this. You want to be with someone that balances well with you. You don't want someone that is the complete opposite, or exactly like you either, though. Ever heard the old saying, "both people can't wear the pants in the relationship"?

Some examples:

If your a quiet one, you want someone that's more talkative.

If your the dominant type, you want someone that's submissive (although sometimes this is a bad thing when people are too far at opposite ends)

If you are strong willed, independant, and stubborn, you want someone that's at least somewhat agreeable, open minded, and dependant.

Men generally don't want clever women much. Cleverness is practically meaningless outside of a display context, and women don't display that way. Although I would imagine it has eugenic connotations :chin:

Right On! However, physical attractiveness also has eugenics connotations . . .

I actually always thought it was the other way around. Smart guys like smart girls, but smart girls like dumb guys. At least this is my experience, although my experience is solely with NTs (afaik). Smart girls I've known have manipulated their less intelligent boyfriends.
