I have not really started dating. Only romantic encounter was in December where I met someone new and interesting. WE have talked on MSN. That is all.

Never yet, and I'm 20. :(

I've kissed one girl and that's it.

But you don't know me in real life. And even if I'm not one now, I'm pretty sure I was once a pathetic parasite when I was your age.

Probably not. You seem like a nice person, unlike me.

I started dating at 16, junior in high school (11th grade). I met my husband a year later.
That was a looooong time ago! LOL

My girls can date when they get their driver's licenses (age 16). I've always said that's the rule because that way if the guy gets fresh with her, she can punch him out, take his keys and drive herself home. Hehehe

My oldest daughter is 22 and lives in her own place in another city, so she's waaaay past the point of it being any of my business.
My other daughter is only 14 and not interested in boys yet. She has mild Williams Syndrome, an "autism related disorder" that includes a hyper social personality, but with social immaturity. The next several years should be fun. 8O

I dated initially when I was 20. It was a funny story, because I had such little confidence about myself, that in hindsight, in HIgh school, I had many girls who probably wanted to date me, but I really didn't know it because I didn't think of myself as worth dating.

Anyway, me and my first date shared an english class together and according to her at least, she hit on me daily for 6 months. Being the complete AS non-socialite I am, the subtle cues and hints she was dropping flew completely over my head, but fortunately for me, I gave her my phone number in the beginning of the semester as a homework help buddy.

Over the following Christmas break, she called me up and introduced herself and I had absolutley no recollection of who she was. I spoke with her several days on the phone, and a few more over the web, when we arranged a time to hang out and go bowling (she lured me out with free tickets). I drove to her place to pick her up, but honestly , I couldn't remember what she looked like at all. I drove right past her standing outside of her house. I turned around to park, when she ran up to the car and tapped on my window. I rolled down the window, she sticks her head in and says "hi, i'm april". I let her in and we went on our date.

We dated several more times, but the communications issues between us just weren't all that good. I imagine my AS didn't help, but at times, she almost seems like she has some sort of disorder as well. She's not the easiest person to read. We are still best friends and oddly enough think about each other all the time, just don't date. She'd still give me the shirt off her back and I'd do the same for her.
