So, I talked to a friend yesterday...
I told him how I've been having trouble moving on since the drama with my ex-best friend and the man I love. When I told him my situation, he recommended me to a social networking site called "Vampire Freaks."
What's the deal here? Well, I have no friends there, no one to help me figure out the site (he no longer uses it), and I'm worried that I'll wind up embarrassing myself.
So, rather than using my boredom as an excuse to figure out the site myself, I'm wondering if any of you are on the site. I'm not sure what other Aspies think, but the only reason he had to suggest it to me is, "It's a hunch."
The site seems like a huge paradise, except I don't really have anyone to help me learn the mechanics. It seems different from what I'm used to. Yet, it doesn't really seem like something a person with Asperger's Syndrome would use.
It's good as a distraction tactic, and since there's a bunch of music there I might find something I like.
Frequent Complaint of Mine: I need new music.
So, on the off-chance anyone from this forum does use that site, would you like to help me learn how to use it? It'd be a great way for us to become friends too.
