1Normal and cool (i.e. you have "stealthed" and understand people near-normally)

2 Naive and fun to mess with

3 Naive and needs help

4 Rude jerk-i.e. they think you are normal but a bad person even though you may not notice what you're doing wrong

Lazy failure-i.e. you aren't really slow to pick up things but you are lethargic and/or don't care about your life

Most people think I'm a bit rude, but those who are around me when I'm nervous think of me as a nerd you can make fun of.

Occasionally you'll have the understanding "big bro/sis" type, and I take it as a goodwill gesture, annoying as they seem.

I don't care for the poll options. How about nerdy and smart? For example if I liked a videogame (MW2, MW3, skyrim) then I would know the game. So at college if a friend wasn't sure about something in skyrim he could always ask me and I would know.

A freak but sometimes it tends to attract some cool and equally awkward at times NTs as well so I guess I get something out of it. Most of the time I am just thought of as peculiar hyper and strange with high intellect in some points.

I think some people think I'm being normal, some people don't like the symptoms, though I wonder if people probably feel a combination of both.

differs between the first 3 really.
most people i know fall into category 1, but as soon as i disclose, they start to shift into either #2 or #3 (mostly 3 though)

I agree with Alexender, the poll is too limited.

From my persepective as an NT who works with someone who has Aspergers (but isn't "out"), people sometimes comment that she's a bit shy or nervous but is otherwise is nice and fun to have around. I think she's the bees knees.

That's a bummer, izzeme. Sorry to hear that.

I'm seen as a naive person who's fun to mess with.

Mostly 3 but occasionally I say something in a class that temporarily puts me back at 1 (3 then 1 then 3 with the same people). I've only rarely been 2. Haven't been 4 since childhood.

All of the above, depending on the day and how long they've known me.

They usually find me rude, as I sacrifice socially acceptable behaviour to being happy and finding out the truth.
That said, those are not just symptoms. In fact, I'm considered more rude in a protected environment with more people with Asperger's.

I would say either a combination of normal and fun to mess with. Or a combination of normal and rude. Some people used think of me as naive and needs help but not so much any more. It was very annoying when people thought of me as 3.
