I have asperger and I'm starting in University in England after this summer. I got really tired of trying to make friends around the places I live in Norway that I just dropped caring. Its like the people I meet we have so little in common.

I have also thought about why I'm having such a hard time making freinds here in Norway that it might be because that I want something bigger out of life, like living in another country, meeting new and different people with at least some similar interests, getting my dream job and so on.

Does anyone else feel this way, in some ways I feel like this is also a part of makes us asperger and autism so special that we think about so different things many times.

Which University in England will you be going to? I'd be happy to meet up with you. :)

There might be some school-trips to London, I've been to London 2 times before. I'd liked that if I will be travelling there.

I have only been able to really travel a few times, but I would love to be able to travel and visit lots of countries and see and learn new things, and try new foods. I love all of that stimulation, and I can be pretty outgoing when I so desire, although with traveling I do tend to be only outgoing with the people I'm with and not really with other locals. I guess in a way I'm the same even when I'm just out and about at home - I'll be friendly, but not horribly outgoing except for with the people I know.
