Other than the odd family messaging... nope.
Mainly because even when I initiated, they don't respond.
Apparently it's my fault for not pestering them, yet I know that pestering leads to an argument.

I text fairly often :) I usually text more with my girlfriend, and there are some days when I don't ever pick up my phone at all

I have one friend text me from time to time but my phone pretty much consists of texts from my mother and my manager. Sometimes I wonder why I even have a phone to begin with.

I had a period recently of pretty intense texting back and forth with someone who contacted me through a local Asperger forum. That friendship didn't work out too well for various reasons, though. Other than that, well, once in a blue moon I'd do things like text my coworkers if I was running late trying to get to the office, not much else.

there is only one person that I have been receiving texts from back and forth recently and that is this girl that I have been hanging out with. Old friends from my hometown that moved up here apparently want nothing to do with me anymore, and my recent depression may have had something to do with it. I also don't feel too comfortable around them anymore for some reason.

I sometimes get texts, but not that often. I get more texts now than I ever did at school. I remember when I got my first mobile phone when I was 13, the girls crowded round to have a look but not one of them offered their number to me, and usually that's the first thing teenagers do is give eachother their mobile numbers when one has a new mobile. And to crowd around like that and not bother to even ask for my number is very hurtful. I did ask a few of them but I think one just about gave me her number, the rest made excuses, but this one girl didn't text me and I was always afraid to text her first, because I knew she just gave me her number just to be polite. The rest didn't care, though.

No, I don´t get them. Or extremely rarely - like a three-times a year, if I am lucky enough. Nobody spares a thought for me. That makes me feel extremely lonely and sad.

No, I don't really know people outside of my family, but if I did, I would hope them to contact me in a way other than texting because I hate typing on my cell phone (it's one of the old ones so it's slooooooow. The newer ones have keyboards more like a computer's, don't they?)

Outside of family, who I text a few times a week, I have one person I text regularly (as in everyday) and then a few who I text maybe a couple of times a week.

Rarely and only if I text them first. I usually text my brother.

I get maybe one text a day average. Maybe more like 3-4 a week sometimes, though.

My family does. I'd much rather have Friends text me though

I text a lot. My friends and I all text when we're bored or making plans. Every once in a while we'll talk on the phone.

I only text because I can't stand the sound of human voices over the phone. So if I decide to call anyone, it means it's something extremely urgent.
