Someone I used to be friends with in a small group just won't get the message that I don't like being with her any more. I just don't know what to do and I'm very distressed and depressed about it. People I ask for help like my parents just seem to say useless stuff like why don't I try again maybe it'll be okay this time. But I really can't stand her, she always has to be right and corrects me and controls me, insists that she's as good a friend as my best friend at the moment. Insists I accept things from her, presumably so that she has some leverage if I don't feel like helping her carry her shopping or whatever. I've driven her away once by being really nasty to her but she's back again. I really don't know what to do and I'm so depressed I don't feel like leaving the house at all.

always manage to be busy whenever she wants to do something with you. there is no reason in the world why you should have to put up with someone so obnoxious.

The trouble is I know she'll get the truth out of my, it's like being back at school with one of those really assertive teachers who'll just keep questioning you more and more. In fact same sort of thing has happen to me at school, and later in life come to think of it, people would just wind me up until I exploded and then, because they never crossed any kind of line, like getting violent, it'd be me that got into trouble. Apparently if you swing your bag at a women (a different one from my current problem) which couldn't possibly have hurt her in the least the police will call you into the police station and arrest you and it won't concern them in the least whether you were provoked or not or whether said women is almost universally hated by everyone.

I have fited this kind of person before, I
had to do 2 things, either warn her that she
won't like your reaction and that you won't
tolerate anyone krittasizing you or correcting
you, and that you won't listen if she does,
plug your ears and go MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!
if you must do that to get the message across.

Or, just don't show up, make excuses, over and over
and over again, make like your sick, or just space it
off and not be where she expect you to be, just
do as if she wasnt going to be there, or dont
answer the door, if she keeps banging on the door
call the cops and say someone is trying to break inoor
herassing you.

If she keeps questioning you, don't answer, or say
"shut up, beanhatch/ugly/poopyface" or what ever you use.

The biggest question is, do you have the power to do
this all over again to prove the point?

Or drop to the floor, just drop to the floor and
stiffen up, clench your teeth, stiffen up like a board
if they call the cops. Groth at the mouth, rfoam and
drool. stare strait ahead. **Use only in emergency, to keep from being violent**

I don't know if htis wood work tell her you hate her outright,
and don't be the east bit flexable.

Sometimes you just have to tell someone that you hate them.

Be as defiant against her as you can, do not comply.
I think I might have worked it out, she is a Miss Bossybossy,
she needs to be defied. Dig in your heels, defy her at every
turn, counter her. Do Not Obey this person she will cause you
nothing but trubble.

Maybe as much as I hate to say it, you might have to
be super nasty to her again to prove your point, I have
tantrums when these kind of people treat me this way,
I don't want to but it happens.

Sorry not thinking clearly now.

I might have to exit.
